Are you too lazy, or too busy?

How about both?  Things have not slowed down since my last entry.  We continue to pack our days with activities.  There is no rest for the weary.  This week I am also packing for the beach.  Last summer we went with my parents and one of my brother's to Rehoboth Beach, DE and had so much fun.  I anticipate this trip being even better.  Last summer, our daughter was only 6 months, so it was a bit of a challenge with her.  This year, as a friend nicely put it, the challenges will be different.  During our visit to my parent's last week, I shared with my mom that we might want to make a schedule of shifts for chasing the 17 month old.  She will be busy!  I really can't wait to see her along the shore line with the tide running up along her toes :) The 4 year old  will be perfectly happy, sitting, digging in the sand and collecting shells.
Also when we return, Dog Adoption Watch will begin.   I have put in two applications with local Rottweiler rescue organizations  for 2 male Rotties.  We are definitely sticking with this breed for many reasons a few of which loyalty, protection, intelligence, and of course they are nice to look at :)  The first is named Zeus and he is about 8 months old.  The other is named Tyson and he is 6  months old.  Both are being surrendered to the rescues due to relocation, not abuse or neglect.  I hope they will  consider our applications, they are super strict!,  and we will get to meet at least one of the boys.  If you would like more information about local Rottweiler Rescue organizations, comment and I will fill you in.
I have also been really wrapped in Verdict Watch and now the sentencing tomorrow for Tot Mom.  I can not even begin to explain my disgust..........I also have recently begun playing Bejeweled on my Ipod.  Big Mistake.  I can't even believe I started playing it in the first place and now I am totally sucked in, along with Words with Friends.
Anywho, stay tuned for Dog Adoption Watch. And if these two gents don't work out, well then it's not meant to be an another will come along.  TTFN!

What occupation did you want as a child?

According to my JCC Nursery School Yearbook, I wanted to be a nurse.   I believe it's dated 1983, but I am way too lazy to go dig it out to find out.  And I am obsessed with the fact that I wanted to shop at the Farmer's Market (who doesn't!?) and live in a brick house!?

If you started a music band, what would the name be?

I have never aspired to start a band, however my childhood best friend and I did video tape our own talk show called "Bodacious"  This had to have taken place sometime around 1991.  It was incredible. We both had big Champion sweatshirts on with turtlenecks and hairsprayed bangs.  Wow, what were we thinking!  I wish more than anything I had that video to upload.  One of these days I'll get my dad to transfer it to me somehow!  Bodacious is one of our top funniest things we have done together (and we have a lot), but the following photo takes the cake:

Really, what the hell where we doing?  This picture 100% belongs on Ellen's Bad Paid for Photos, which is by far the funniest bit on any talk show I have ever seen.  It never fails to bring a smile to my face or make me laugh out loud.  So, while I never had dreams of being in a band, naming a talk show Bodacious is about as awesome as it gets.  TTFN!

Weekly Photo Challenge: One

Each week I will try to provide a photo for creative inspiration.  I will post them on Last Call  on Fridays (hopefully).
This weeks theme is "One."  Here's what I came up with:
One Who Watches Over the Garden

If I Could Go Invisible For One Day What Would I Do?

Wow. What a question!  What would I do, if I could go unnoticed for one whole day?  I would absolutely, no questions asked,  100%, sleep.  I would lie in bed, catch up on magazines and other printed materials, i.e. Jay Z's Decoded, which has been sitting untouched since I ordered it I can't even remember when, until I could no longer hold my eyelids open.  I would sleep, glorious sleep.
Where did I get this idea for a post?  The Daily Post.  I'll keep it up as long as I can :)  TTFN!

**And why the HELL does this image come up when I search for "Invisible" on Google Images??**
